Unfortunately, too many of us don’t understand the principles that are required to generate a consistent flow of currency that results in an abundance of financial resources. In this first broadcast of 2018 I shared some major wealth-building principles straight from the Word of God.

5 Affirmations to Maximize Your Impact as a Faith Based Entrepreneur

God gives every man/person a purpose that comes gift-wrapped in a dream. Our marketplace assignment is one of the major strategies God uses for us to fulfill that purpose. These affirmations would help to reinforce who God has called you to be and what he has called you to accomplish for His glory through your business.

1) MY IDENTITY AFFIRMATION

My identity is found in God.
I am a son of God.
My value is found in being a son of God.
My work represents worship to God.

2) MY INSIGHT AFFIRMATION

I have the mind of Christ.
I have the creative wisdom of Christ.
Greater is He that is in me then he that is in the world.
The Holy Spirit is my competitive advantage in the marketplace.

3) MY IMAGINATION AFFIRMATION

I have the mind of Christ.
I have the imagination of Christ.
I have God ideas.
I am created to create like God created.

#YourDreamMatters: Your Dream Is Meant To Be A Gift That Keeps Giving

Did you know the manifestation of your dream was meant to be a gift from God that keeps giving to others? On the most recent Sunday night Dream Catalyst Weekly Prayer Call I taught about the Parable of the Ten Minas found in Luke 19. One of the key principles gleaned from this parable - similar to the Parable of the Talents found in Matthew 25 - is that the most significant reward for our faithfulness is not money. Instead it's responsibility that's connected to influence over people.

We must recognize that the dream given to us by God comes with His expectation that through the fulfillment of our dreams our lives will continually be a blessing to others.

7 Biblical Strategies to Monetize Your Imagination

Everything that we experience in life is the manifestation of an idea. The universe, earth, and mankind were all once ideas in God's imagination before they came into being. In fact in Genesis 1:1-3, God gives us His formula for bringing ideas into reality, and it starts with your imagination. Why? Because how you utilize your imagination is central to manifesting the resources need to accomplish God's vision in the earth.

Your God-given imagination is more powerful than you realize. And when it's under the control of the mind of Christ and the tutorship of the Holy Spirit your possibilities are endless, including how you create income streams for your business and household. After all, He gave us the power to get wealth (Deuteronomy 8:18), the knowledge of witty inventions (Proverbs 8:12), and He said He would lead us in the way that is profitable (Isaiah 48:17). Even your faith is connected to your imagination based on Hebrews 11:1.

The Coming Wealth Transfer

Many Christians often talk about the massive transfer of wealth that is mentioned in Proverbs 13:22 and other places in the Bible. However, I don't hear too many people describe how this transfer will take place.

Os Hillman, founder of Marketplace Leaders, provided a wonderful devotional today discussing what the Bible calls a transfer of wealth from the wicked to the righteous. He lists at least four types of transfers that will take place:

Supernatural Transfer
Power to Make Wealth
Social Entrepreneurship
Wealthy Individual "Conversions"

According to Os:

"The transfer of wealth is designed to accelerate God's activity on the earth, not to simply make believers wealthy. Pray that God uses your work life call to accelerate His Kingdom on earth. And pray that God raises up good stewards of wealth."

When it comes to dealing with money, it often seems like many Christians want God to make things happen for them and bring them the results, all without much of their involvement. For some it’s easy to “name it and claim it” (or as some would say, “blab it and grab it”), and then wait around for an angel to whisk a special delivery blessing on a chariot to their doorstep, like they were receiving a package from a heavenly UPS delivery person.

It’s interesting, though, throughout Scripture we very rarely see God providing money as a means of deliverance or breakthrough. However, we do witness a pattern of God’s expectation of our participation in His plans. This method started in the Garden of Eden with God providing for Adam’s needs as he fulfilled his task of nurturing the agriculture and naming the animals. It continues as a theme throughout the Bible, especially in the execution of miracles for people. With the Old Testament prophets, Jesus, and the apostles we usually see people actively participating in their own deliverance, not just merely receiving a blessing.

God has always desired to work in partnership with us. He does not want us just sitting idly while watching Him work, nor does He just want to watch us work without His involvement. One expression of God’s desire for intimate fellowship is through the opportunity to engage Him as we are operating in the area of our purpose.

Turning Dreamers Into Doers

"A dream comes through a multitude of business…" Ecclesiastes 5:3

The source of everything that's in existence was once an idea. Joel 2 tells us that God gets His ideas into the earth through dreams and visions. One purpose of this process is to provide us with the tangible activities that we are to engage in order to manifest His Kingdom. And for many people those ideas can be turned into Kingdom businesses that help fulfill your purpose and fund God's work.

So why don't we see more Christians having major success in business? The challenge for a large percentage of them is they are unaware of an effective process or strategy to transform a God-idea into an enterprise. Too many give excuses as to why the idea won't work, allowing it to lay dormant and it never produces fruit in their lives. For others, failed attempts lead to frustration and feelings that the idea maybe "wasn't meant to be." It seems like only a precious few are able to transform their ideas into profitable ventures.

The truth is if God is releasing ideas into the world through dreams and visions, He intends His ideas to yield results that benefit you and others. God doesn't do "trial and error." He always produces a positive return on His investments (Isaiah 55). The question is will you be the one that produces the harvest or shall God look for another?
