Loving your enemies doesn’t mean you agree with them, especially, if they're on the other side of your political views. Yet this message is so counter to today’s culture. This leads us to the concept of "disruptive politics", which I define as political policies that serve to sharply divide people along political lines and has a major (negative) impact on different groups of people. So how should Christians respond to “disruptive politics”, especially when someone else's view doesn't agree with yours? Watch here or listen to the audios of The Disruptors Podcast in my mobile app.

Today is my birthday and I was wondering if you would do me a BIG favor...Actually the favor is more for some other people than it is for myself. Metro Merge recently launched a crowdfunding campaign to help fund a project that will give youth the opportunity to get hands-on entrepreneurship and media skills training. You can learn more about this project by clicking down below and the ways that you can contribute. We REALLY need your help to make this a reality. Thanks in advance for your consideration and donations. After all, it is my birthday :-)
Crowdfunding Campaign Overview Historic South Atlanta was once a thriving community of educational professionals that now suffers from a poverty level of 43%. It is our belief that a vibrant business community is essential to a healthy neighborhood. Metro Merge will utilize this youth media project to accomplish its mission to fight poverty by strengthening local businesses, specifically among youth. We're super excited about this opportunity to launch a community-focused media production company where we will equip youth with entrepreneurial skills in media content creation and distribution for social impact. This initiative is part of our overall commitment to fight poverty by growing small businesses and creating jobs. Specifically teens will have the opportunity to:
What We Need & What You Get We need $20,000 to launch this media production company. Here's what your donations will pay for:
***Check out these great perks you get when you give... The Impact
Studies show approximately 70% of students want to start their own business, but less than 30% receive the training they need to launch a successful business. Entrepreneurial training among youth has also been proven to increase interpersonal skills, academic achievement, and social responsibility, and decrease risky behavior. We realize youth are drawn to particular industries, such as media, technology, sports, and music. This initiative will allow them not just to be consumers, but to be creators of content, jobs, and opportunities for themselves and others. Other Ways You Can Help Some people just can’t contribute, but that doesn’t mean you can’t help. Here's a couple other things you can do:

The promise of additional viewership alone is huge - even shows that have been limited to a specific geographic region can suddenly have worldwide saturation through Internet TV. And of course, with increased viewership comes the potential for additional revenue from partners/donors, which positively enhances your ministry’s outreach effectiveness.

Recently I did an interview with host Kenny Pugh on Brotha Live discussing some of the current headlines of today dealing with racism, sexism, classism and a bunch of other "isms." We have to be very careful when we base our connection with others on the ways that we are divided. Click below to enjoy! Listen to internet radio with BrothaMagazine on BlogTalkRadio My guest this Thursday on Passion in Action TV is author, motivator, and cancer conqueror Eddie Connor. Eddie Connor was born in Southfield, Michigan but grew up in Kingston, Jamaica. The British Education that Eddie received, during his formative years in Jamaica, can be attributed to his thirst for knowledge. As a product of a divorced family, Eddie realizes that he was not born with a "silver spoon" in his mouth, but was raised by a strong mother, who instilled in him life long values and the importance of governing himself as a positive individual. Eddie has garnered prestigious honors for his community activism and role model leadership, such as the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Humanitarian Award, Eastern Michigan University President For a Day, and the NAACP Male Student of the Year. As an Author, Educator, Evangelist, Motivational Speaker, Poet, Radio and TV Host, Eddie Connor shares his story of overcoming cancer in his three books, "Purposefully Prepared to Persevere", "Collections of Reflections: Symphonies of Strength, Volumes 1-3", and "E.CON the ICON: from Pop Culture to President Barack Obama". From Cancer to Conqueror to more than Conqueror, God has truly given Eddie Connor a voice to reach individuals of all ages and backgrounds in this day and time. A young man of passion, determination, and intellectual fortitude, desires to impact minds in perilous times, by enhancing the lives of others and expressing the power to persevere, which will ultimately propel individuals beyond all obstacles. To hear more of Eddie's story of conquering cancer and more, join us Thursday at 7 pm ET. Watch online on your computer or mobile device at www.passioninaction.tv. This week on Passion In Action TV I will interview Ronald L. Godbee, pastor of The River Church in Durham, NC. "Many are called, but few are chosen," certainly personifies this humble vessel of God. The powerful ministry gift that rests on his life is evident whenever you’re in a worship experience with him. Pastor Godbee has a passion for praise and worship with a ministry style that saturates the soul. His operation in the five-fold ministry gifts will cause lives to be radically changed, transformed and renewed. During his time of humble service and ministry, Pastor Godbee was appointed by his spiritual father, Presiding Prelate Bishop Edgar Vann, II to serve as General Overseer on the Executive Council of the Kingdom Alliance Covenant Fellowship. His ministry moments have been highlighted in many forms of Christian media. He is noted for his revelatory wisdom and knowledge that he willingly shares in sermons and mentoring relationships with people from all walks of life. He has been a regular host on many Christian talk shows which include co-hosting with Bishop Greg Davis on “Rejoice in the Word,” as well as hosting his own radio show, compassionately called, “The Flow.” Pastor Godbee’s gentle, yet boldly anointed voice is heard all over the airwaves glorifying God and edifying the body of Christ as he addresses the topics that many modern-day theologians scarcely mention. In his position as the Campus Pastor of The River Church in Durham, North Carolina, Pastor Godbee is challenging the men and women of God to build lives, loyalty, and a legacy.
